INTRODUCTION
The Diocese of Saint Joseph, Reformed Catholic Charismatic Church, is dedicated to advancing the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. In obedience to our Lord's Great Commission, our mission is to establish missions and parishes, social services for the needy, and perform corporal acts of mercy that will bring salvation to the unsaved and a "hand up" to the needy. The Reformed Catholic Charismatic Church proclaims, through its preaching and teaching, a Gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ alone. We make no claims that are outrageous and demeaning to this fundamental of all Scriptural teaching. SALVATION IS NOT A DENOMINATIONAL ISSUE. OUR CLERGY
In keeping with our denominational guidelines, those persons interested in ordination are required to contact the Presiding Bishop of the Diocese, the Most Reverend +Raymond Young, D.D., OSH, or his representative, for an interview. If the candidate is accepted,formal studies begin. We do not require the student to attend seminary; all studies are by correspondence. Some study courses are offered through the Diocese, while other studies through Christ The King Seminary. Christ The King is authorized by the Florida Department of Education to grant the degrees of Bachelor's, Master's, & Doctorate's in religious disciplines. At the completion of all required studies, the candidate is then ordained, first as a Deacon, then after a brief period, as a Priest. Clergy from other denominations who wish to re-enter active ministry are invited to apply. Our clergy are allowed to marry. Celibacy is not enforced and is a matter of personal choice. We neither encourage, nor discourage; but will respect one's choice. We do have unmarried clergy, our Patriarch, Archbishop +Emmanuel Paul, Ph.D., OSH.
