To glorify God by providing a safe place, with Christian values, where all people can go for recreational, educational and spiritual, family-oriented activities.
The Christian Family Development Association (CFDA) is a non-denominational, non-profit, charitable organization. Our purpose is to build recreation/education centers that will also provide uplifting Christian music and most importantly have a continual prayer vigil in the prayer room at all times the center is open and a chapel open 24 hours a day for anyone in need.
Instead of a monetary charge to use this center, there will be "duties" given upon entering the facility. Examples of duties are: For Youth - sweep, pick up trash, tutor. For Adults - volunteer with programs and upkeep at the center or elsewhere in the community. Through these duties we hope to teach responsibility to the youth and instill the value of volunteerism to adults.
How can you help?
*Draw near to God and He will draw near to you!
*Make a commitment to pray and read the bible every day!
*Rejoice, pray and give thanks to God, daily!
*Fast at noon every Thursday for this cause!
*Confess Christ Jesus before men, and He will confess you before God. (Matt. 10:32)
One way you can confess your faith and also help us promote this type of center is to join us in our efforts to have every Christian display a white bow in their yard and business as a symbol of their Christian faith.
