Smoo (Servant Ministers for On-fire Outreach) is a Northwestern College
student ministry which desires to show the people in our community God's
love in practicle and tangible ways. Today, words have lost their power.
Unfortunately, this is true of the words of the Gospel we preach. In order
to bring power back to our words, we desire to show the gospel before we share
the gospel. We are a ministry that shows God's love through random acts of
kindness. Kindness is one of the most powerful forces for change. If we
demonstrate God's love then people will be more likely to receive God's love.
We believe that God loves you and has a plan for your life.
Unfortunately, as a human you fall short of God's expectations.
You do things that are against what God desires for you (sin).
Because of your sin, you are seperated from God and cannot know
God, His love, or His plan for your life. Those who die in this
condition are eternally seperated from God (hell). This is the
penalty for your sin. Jesus Christ came and died to pay the penalty
for your sin so that you wouldn't have to. He was in his tomb
and was ressurected on the third day. There is no way for you
to take care of your sin problem alone. You must trust in Christ.
This alone is the way to know God, His love and His plan for
your life. For more information, E-mail me at the adress below.
