NEWS LETTER & PRISON INVASION INFORMATION

It's great to know that Gods' plans are always to do good things for His people. His plan is for us to have a future that is filled with His peace and abounding with the hope that everything that He has promised to do will come to pass. He's just waiting for us to do our part...

"THEN YOU WILL CALL UPON ME AND GO PRAY TO ME, AND I WILL LISTEN TO YOU." JEREMIAH 29:12.

When we call upon the Lord, then he will answer, because He wants to pour out a blessing upon His people. He wants us to have confidence in His ability to bring us through whatever we need to be brought through. He wants us to believe Him for miracles to be done in the name of Jesus, just like we're supposed to!

"AND YOU WILL SEEK ME AND FIND ME, WHEN YOU SEARCH FOR ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART." JEREMIAH 29:13.

Whenever I am teaching a prayer seminar, I will always, at one point or another, tell those I'm speaking to that they need to pray with conviction and with confidence. "If your prayers don't move you," I will ask, "Then what makes you think that they should move the Creator of the universe?". See James 5:16.

We need to learn to humble ourselves, not just say we are humble. Since pride precedes a fall, humility precedes honor. God will honor true humility. We must honor God by walking humbly with Him. We must also honor God by being strong in our faith towards Him as His power is made manifest in our weakness. See Daniel 11:32.

There is a time to humble yourself before the Lord. There is also a time to be bold. We, (the Church), need to learn to tell time.

"I WILL BE FOUND BY YOU, SAYS THE LORD, AND I WILL BRING YOU BACK FROM YOUR CAPTIVITY; I WILL GATHER YOU FROM ALL THE NATIONS AND FROM ALL THE PLACES WHERE I HAVE DRIVEN YOU, SAYS THE LORD, AND I WILL BRING YOU TO THE PLACE FROM WHICH I CAUSED YOU TO BE CARRIED AWAY CAPTIVE." JEREMIAH 29:14.

We are looking forward to an exciting couple of months with plenty of ministry as we will do three Prison Invasions in four prisons. We will also hold prayer seminars in the MooreTransfer Unit and the Cole Unit in conjunction with the invasions. The Prayer Seminars are continuing to be blessed of the Lord as many of the inmates are being drafted, (grafted?!), in to the army of the Lord.

The Lord is raising a great army of intercessors who are praying and fasting for REVIVAL!. We do not feel that it is too much to ask of the God of the universe to send revival to the worst part of Texas, it's prisons'. It is now common place to see four and five hundred men stand to rededicate their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ and for a large number of them to be calling on Him for the very first time. I don't take any of this for granted. It's always a great joy to see so many lives changed by the power of God.

I am fully convinced that we are at a point where enough lives are being changed, (did I mention the lives of correctional officers and volunteers?), that we will see entire prisons changed for the glory of God! If the Lord can change a person, He can change a prison, (prisons are made up of people). If the Lord can change one prison, He can change one prison system. We are praying.

One of the most interesting things that I have found to be a common denominator in every prison Church I've polled, ( which is every place I've been this year), is that over 60% are Spirit-filled. When I ask this question, I ask if they have their prayer language, the glossalia, and they tell me that they do. I am also told, when I ask and I ask, if they where born again when they were, were they in prison, and the answer is almost always-yes!

As I meditate before the Lord with this information, I find that God is, without any doubt, moving mightily in our prisons. What I also find is that there are a lot of inmates who, like the Church, don't really have any idea what thy are supposed to do now. The Prayer Seminars are providing answers for a lot of folks.

You need to get your applications for the Hutchins Unit Prison Invasion in to the office as soon as possible. The deadline is June 3rd. Please don't call and tell you are going. I have a hard time putting the list together for prison security if I don't have your application. I even left my name off the first draft for the Gurney Unit. Please mail them in or FAX them to us.

We have two invasions in July with one of them still tentative. The Cole/Moore Units are a done deal and we will work on the Lane Murray Unit for women as if it were done, too.

These will be exciting, life changing meetings, not only for prisoners but also for us and many of the correctional officers are being touched by God, also. We'll see you there.
