There is, sometimes an assumption that the client has been initially habilitated during the normal growth process and that rehabilitation was all that was necessary to guarantee future success. What we found was that in many cases habilitation had never occurred. Our approach was to develop a set of classes that build each other. This way we are able to involve those who are interested in recovery and still expose the others to the information. We teach basic life skills to at-risk individuals through shelters and rehabilitation centers.
We teach seven core classes containing information needed to survive in society. In addition, there are several elctive classes dealing with relationships, personal care, and disciplship.
