Kid's Church
The Encourager Kid's Ministry vision is first and foremost to welcome every child as our own. "Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me." Matt. 18:5. We have a growing Children's Church and are looking for a place to exchange ideas, object lessons, skits, etc. with other children's workers and pastors. Our Children's Church, Sunday School and Wednesday night training is the base of our Children's Ministry in the Church with a growing emphasis on outreach.
Kid's Club
Kid's Club is our outreach ministry to children in our community. Kid's Club is modeled somewhat after the Saturday Sunday School developed by Bill Wilson. We have just completed our first season (Easter to Christmas) with 45 salvations and attendance averaging 50 children. We will continue with a weekly Bible Study in the apartments and van service to church. We would love to have a forum to exchange ideas, encourage and learn from others as they reach out to their community of children. Please contact us at efp123@msn.com Fun object lesson: apple juice bottle, hard boiled egg. Egg won't fit through the opening. Put a burning piece of paper in bottle and place egg on the opening. The pressure will force the egg through the opening. There is pressure pulling on all of us to sin. Let children smell the egg in the bottle. That's what falling under pressure to sin does to us.
