The Compelling purpose of Pen Pals for God News.
We would like to take this oppertunity to introduce ourselves, and a much needed ministry. Our names are Guy Hodges and Stella Person. The job that God has laid on our hearts is to minister to the needs of one of the largest penal systems in the world.(T.D.C.J.) The Texas Dept of Criminal Justic consist of 120,000 inmates with salvation and christian needs. Since starting with a small Christian Newsletter, called Pen Pals for God News, We have been able to reach many,and have seen Gods hand at work in their lives. The reason for submiting this article is to let the public know the importance of this ministry, and to ask if there is any one that has a loved one or friend presently incarcerated that may be in need of this Christian Ministry. Although our ministry doesn't stop there, We believe in ministering to those that are having difficulties facing everyday fears of having a loved one behind the wire.
