This site is under construction. This is just a peek through all the dust at what's going on here at Minnesota Teen Challenge. MINNESOTA TEEN CHALLENGE IS THE 5TH LARGEST IN U.S.! There are 146 Teen Challenge Centers in the U.S., and Minnesota Teen Challenge is the fastest growing center of them all. In the past eight months, the number of students has more than doubled. We are also one of the Teen Challenge programs ministering to both teen girls and boys as well as adult men and women. With a total population near 100, we currently maintain a staff of 37, including part-time and volunteers. Praise God for His great work in this ministry. He has blessed us so mightily, and each day we are able to witness how He is raising up a mighty army within our midst. The evidence of God's grace in the lives of our students is a marvelous testimony to his undying forgiveness and mercy.
The Teen Challenge Choir, under the directorship of JoAnn Kendall, has really been making themselves heard lately. On August 6, the choir was asked to share in music and testimony with Sharon Sayles Belton, Mayor of Minneapolis, during the "National Night Out" Rally at City Hall. The Choir is booked solid weeks in advance, singing at churches all over the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota. The Lord is working mightily through these young people, as they sing their praises to Him for the changes in their lives and the promise of hope. The Choir is currently working on a recording project and is also planning a fundraising program to help fund their travel and pay for other expenses.
