Diocese of Sialkot has a misssiological history, in the middle of the 19th century overses missionar fruit of the hardies commenced the work in this partv of the world and Forgien Mission of the Church of Scotland played inatial but vital role in witnessing the love of the Lord in this part of the sub continent. The presentgreat numbers of the disciples of Christ is the of his KIngdomof the hard work of the Missionaries who energetically worked in this land which was barren concerning the see of God"s Kingdom but the seed which missionaries sowed was made fruitful by the power of God Almighty and He himself raised the witnesses of his Kingdom and at present a large number is witnessing the presence of the love of God in this region.
Alwin John Samuel was elected to be the 4th Bishop of Sialkot on the 20th April 2015, and he was consecrated for this service on the first day of May in two thousand and fifteenth year of our Lord. The sevice was held in the Holy Trinty where the see of Sialkot is,
