Calvary Temple believes that God has blessed His church with many different giftings and that all should be given opportunity. We endeavor to provide this opportunity without partiality. Our goal is to work with the Holy Spirit to create a church that Jesus would be proud to call His own. We endeavor to cast down all religious and political strongholds that would hinder, and to provide an equal playing field for all the saints. At Calvary there is a strong emphasis on prayer,worship,personal humility, and the exaltation of Jesus Christ. If you have a gifting from God but lack opportunity, and you are an active Christian believer, then we feel we have a responsibility to provide you with the opportunity to release that gift.
WE ARE KINGDOM MINDED
Two major mentalities seem to exist among believers. One is "a church mentality -- the other a Kingdom mentality." Ours is a Kingdom mentality. Our mission is not to simply add to the church but add to God's Kingdom. We support all Christian churches believing that even though we may differ to some degree in certain doctrine, we can agree in spirit. We belive in salvation by the grace of God through Calvary,in the baptism in the Holy Spirit to empower the believer, the gifts of the Holy Ghost to minister more effectively, in the Rapture of His church, in heaven as a result of receiving Christ and in hell as a result of His rejection. We belive that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He still saves, delivers, baptizes, heals, and is still doing the same miracles that He did when He walked this earth. We believe that as long as there is a God, no situation is hopeless. Every person has a purpose, a destiny, and a reason to be born. Our mission is to help you to discover that purpose.
