About Us
We are a small Christian group on campus at UConn. Having a website is critical because students demand flexibility. Our goal is to provide you a place to find out what other Christians are doing on campus, and to be a guide for your own personal service. We provide Bible Study help, as well as sermon podcast recomendations.
Summarized Statement of Faith
We are The Christian Conservative Church, but we would describe ourselves as conservative messianic noahides and conservative messianic jews. We interpret Acts 15 to acknowledge that Jews and Gentiles have different responsiblities towards God and ways of Godly-living, the same way that Modern day rabbis believe this. Similar to modern day rabbis, we believe that Jews/Hebrews are to live by the Mosaic law and gentiles are to live by the Noahide law. It must always be mentioned as well that obedience to law does not regenerate or in anyway purify a soul. Jesus died for our sins so that we may receive the gift of salvation and the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit makes us a new creation so that we will have the stregnth to obey, so that no man may boast.
