Story of Vietnamese Pastor
Story of my faith in the Vietnam Nation, I was born in the Pastor's family, my father went to heaven however his faith still remains with children. All of my brothers and sisters have served God I heard the voice of Lord to call into seminary in South Vietnam before Socialist revolution in 1975. I worked hard for earning my life in some company before I came to position charge of the church full time in 1983 that has only 10 members . Every night I was teaching and training Bible studies for non believers, Buddhists etc. Many family need my ministry so I prayed for them and instructed them by methods of Bible. Amazingly, they ask me advices as consultant for help in their bussiness. Short time after They converted to Christianity. Every Sunday I preached sermons for my congregation in the worship service. Today, the congregation increased to over 1,500 affiliated members. I have graduated University of Hochiminh City with majors: Southeast Asian Culture and Press. During I studied in University of Hochiminh city I wrote a thesis that Its topic is "Protestantism in Southeast Asia". This thesis was evaluated very good by Researching Council of University. This is the first thesis of a Vietnamese pastor who contributed to Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam. I translated a cartoon book "The life of Jesus" from English to Vietnamese and published in Vietnam then It became popular in Vietnamese community. Luckily, I was chosen to exchange culture with Pusan University in Korea in 1994 and went researching to Malaya University in Malaysia in 1995. In 1999 I studied master in the long distance training program that major was Master Business of Administration of Central State University in California. I also have opportunity trained in a siminar leadership at World Christian Conference in Bangladesh on 1999, In 2003 Vietnamese Pastors ordained me. I experienced a course traning on Evangelism at siminar of Haggai Leadership Institute in Singapore on 2004. Beginning the year of 2006 I founded a new system of churches, Independent Baptist Church. In 2007 the Saint George's College in Jerusalem hosted me a seminar for learning about â€oePalestine of Jesus Christ". In 2008 I coordinated as partner education of Tennessee Temple University. I have just returned after I finished a Pastor's Conference at Living Faith Church Singapore on October 2009. My family has three sons, the oldest son graduated Georgia Perimetter College, Georgia State. Thank God, I wish God support my church build a large church for Baptist community in Hochiminh city where has crowd Christians. Pastor Dung Nguyen www.vietnamductin.org
