"STATEMENT OF FAITH"
We believe the Bible is the inspired, profound, written Word of God and constitutes His completed and final revelation to man. We believe the bible is the sole rule of faith for the believer. The Bible, in its original autograph, is without error in whole and in part, including theological concepts as well as geographical and historical details. We believe God has existed from all eternity in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ was God come in human flesh being fully God and fully man, except without sin. We believe the central purpose of the coming of Jesus Christ was to demonstrate God's all holy character that he alone is just and the one who justifies. We believe Jesus Christ alone paid the penalty for man's sin through His death on the cross, the successful accomplishment of which was attested to by His subsequent visible, bodily resurrection. We believe Salvation is God's free gift to the sinner. By God's grace alone, this gift must be responded to by individual faith alone; not trusting in any personal works whatsoever, but in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ alone.
"MEMBERSHIP COVENANT"
Having trusted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and having been baptized in Spirit and in Water, I'm in agreement with New Beginning Worship and Praise Ministry, Inc.'s beliefs, practices and aims; I unite myself in Covenant with the New Beginning Worship & Praise Church family. In so doing, I commit myself to God and to my fellow sisters and brothers in Christ to do the following: 1. I will protect the unity of my church by acting in love towards other members, refusing to gossip and by following the Leadership of this Ministry. 2. I will share the responsibilities of growth for my church by praying for it and by inviting unbelievers to attend a warm and loving spirit and demostrating Godly love to those who visit. 3. I will serve the ministries of my church by prayerfully discovering my gifts and talents; I will pray for the heart of a servant in order to be equipped as a more effective Stewart. 4. I will uphold the testimony of my church by attending its services faithfully, by living a Godly life and by giving regularly and sacrificially. 5. I now Covenant with this membership, and with the help of God I will uphold the righteous principles of the church, of which I am a member, in sisterly and brotherly affection toward each other. 6. I Covenant to watch over my sisters and brothers, and if need be, in the most tender and affectionate manner to reprove and be a sister and brother's keeper and not a whisperer or a backbiter. 7. I Covenant my unselfish devotion to the responsibility of the church and as an active member of the body of Christ, to walk obediently for the unity and growth of this visible church and to walk in the proof of God's word thus warding off the Devil's curse from the body of Christ and my home. 8. I will strive by God's grace and power to live as Christ lived in the world, to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, to be honest and just with others, to abide by the standards of sexual purity, and spiritual integrity as taught in the bible and to use Holy Scriptures as final authority over my decisions. Amen!
