WHAT IS CHURCH?
WHAT IS CHURCH? The word "Church" comes from the Greek word "Ecclesia" which means "to call one from". The church is a body of people call out from the world to be in Christ. lt can also refer to a local group of believers - col 4:15. BRIEF HISTORY OF GREAT ACHIEVERS INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES AND CHURCHES INC. Great Achievers International Ministries lnc. Started on 14th June 1996 at No. 13D Egbu Street, off 50b Ngwa Road by Mosque Road Aba -Abia State, Nigeria, as deliverance and prayer ministeries. The ministries was Interdenominational Outfit and was holding her Tuesday and Sunday fellowships in the afternoon . The ministries became full fledge church on 21st April 2002. Later The LORD Spoke to His Servant Apostle Dr. Prince Nnams N.Kalu to Shift there based to Europe in 2004 and the journey was set up to Germany with his wife Rev. Mrs. Ugoeze Deborah Nnams and kids, after prayers the directed him and his younger brother Daniel Kalu confirmed the movement to move to Spain to plant a church for all tribes and Nations. On 8th May 2005, her first branch in Europe was planted in the city of Valencia -Spain THE PURPOSE OF GREAT ACHIEVERS INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES AND CHURCHES INC. * The five purposes of the universal Church as Worship, Ministry, Evangelism, Fellowship and Discipleship - Matt. 28:18 - 20. * The purpose of Great Achievers is making victors out of victims and empowering them through the word of faith unto greatness and they will be blessed to become Great Achievers of their Generation - lsa. 42:6-7. OUR STATEMENT * A. Our vision statement :( What are we called to do) confirming the word of God through signs and wonders; and establishing Victory of Jesus in the life of believers -lsaiah 42:6 - 7. * B. Our mission statement: (How we intend to do it) "To empower believers through the teaching of the word of faith and deliverance." * C. Our believes: * Trinity - Godhead - 1John 5:7 * One God - Deut. 6:4; Eph.4:6 * Jesus Christ is the son of God - Heb. 1:5 * Holy Ghost our comforter and Teacher - Jn. 14:26 * Jesus is the only way to God - Jn. 14:6 * Jesus died and rose from dead - 1Cor. 15:4 * Bible is the word of God - 2 Tim. 3:16 * All need to be saved - Rom. 3:16 * Two sacraments - Baptism and the lord's Supper - mark 16: 16: Matt. 26:29 * The resurrection of the dead - Thes. 4: 16-17 * The second coming of our lord Jesus Christ - Acts 1:11 THE STRATEGY OF GREAT ACHIEVERS INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES AND CHURCHES INC. Our target: All souls- * Unsaved to be saved. * Saved to be made victors and empowered unto greatness through the teaching of the word of faith. * Our Trainings: * Membership class or believer's class- turning saint unto members. * Discipleship class - Raising disciples for the master. * School of the ministry - Making ministers for the kingdom. BEING MEMBER OF GREAT ACHIEVERS INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES. * Requirements for membership: Personal confession of Christ as Lord and Saviours (must be born again). Completion of membership / believers class. Undergo deliverance. Baptism by immersion. Signing of membership pledge. Benefits of membership You will be identified as a genuine Christian -Eph.2:19: Rom. 12:5. You are part of a spiritual family that supports and encourages you - Gal.6: 1-2: Heb.10:24-25. You have a place to discover and utilize your gift -1Cor. 12:4-27. You are under the protection of Godly leaders - Heb. 13:17, Acts 20:28-29. You are accountable to others, which is why you need to grow - Eph 5:21. A Christian without a church is like a child without a family. "MAKING VICTORS OUT OF VICTIMS AND EMPOWERING THEM UNTO GREATNESS". THE MANDATE 'To bring God's people out of bondage'. Our mandate is a direct and audible commandment from God in ISAIAH 42v6-7, to bring the message of salvation to the gentiles, to open the blind eyes and bring out the prisoners from the prison and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. It is a total deliverance mandate embedded in the wonderful word of God. This mandate extends to family liberation ministrations, where ancestral atrocities have held many families to a pitiable state. There are many believers today that have not been fully detached from the evils of the past. Many families are still under one curse or the other and tragedy has become the order of the day in some Christian families. Repentance from sin does not break curses or bring liberation to families that were evil-based in the past. These evil acts must be consciously prayed out in lives with divine insight. The ultimate direction of our mandate is turning victims into victors through the use of God's word, deliverance and directional prayers. It is the demonstration of His power with evidence to the humiliation of Satan. VISION The vision of the ministry is to confirm the word of God through signs and wonders, and establishing the victory of Jesus in the lives of believers. Christianity is full of great promises and these promises must be manifest in believer's lives. To fulfill this vision across the globe, missionaries are sent into remote villages, Africa and foreign countries. We equally wish to establish schools to wipe out illiteracy in our society and give assistance to orphanages and refugees. Bringing medical facilities to the remote part of this country and the continent. Various youth empowerment programmes are also in consideration to churn out youths that ordinarily would have been wasted. The Church is working on modalities to register an NGO to help HIV/AIDS, Orphans, and victims with adequate rehabilitation facilities and personnel. To fulfill and realize this vision and mandate from God, we need men and women (Kingdom Partners) who God has touched that can assist in the above programmes through relief materials for orphanages and refugees sponsorship of missionaries etc.
AFRICA IS A COUNTRY BLESSED WITH LOVELY CLIMATE
AFRICA IS A COUNTRY BLESSED WITH LOVELY CLIMATE AND BEAUTIFUL GREEN SCENARIOS. YET BEYOND THIS SWEET SITES LIES POVERTY IN MANY PARTS OF AFRICA.MANY LIVE IN LACK OF ELECTRICITY AND SHELTER. SOME HAVE EVEN MADE THE FOREST THEIR BEDROOMS. A COUNTRY WHERE THE RICH GET RICHER AND THE POOR GET POORER. GOD HAS BEEN AND WILL ALWAYS BE THE KEEPER OF THE LESS PRIVILEDGED. BUT THOSE OF US GOD HAS BLESSED WITH BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY WHERE MANY PEOPLE IF NOT ALL ,HAVE SHELTERS, FOOD SUPPLIED BY GOVERNMENT AND THEIR HEALTH WELL TAKEN CARE OF ,EVEN IF THEY DON'T HAVE A DIME, SHOULD REMEMBER THE LESS PRIVILDEGED BECAUSE IT IS NO FAULT OF THEIRS THAT THEY SHOULD BE IN POOR SITUATION. YOU CAN MAKE A CHANGE IN THEIR LIVES. BEING DOCTORS, WE HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK IN AN AFRICAN HOSPITAL AND THE CONSTANT THOUGHTS OF WHAT WE SAW HAS DRIVEN US TO PLAN TO BUILD A MISSIONARY HOSPITAL WHERE ANYONE COULD BE HELPED MEDICALLY DESPITE THEIR STATUS. PATIENTS DIE OFTEN IN AFRICA BECAUSE THEY CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY BEFORE SERVICE WHICH IS HOW MOST HOSPITALS IN WEST AFRICA OPERATE. AND BEFORE THE RELATIONS OF THE PATIENT RALLIES AROUND TO BORROW THE MONEY ,THE PATIENT DIES.WHAT A PITY!!! MANY RURAL AREAS HAVE NO NEARBY HOSPITAL AND MAY NEED TO TRAVEL A LONG DISTANCE TO SEEK FOR ONE. AND THEY MAY NOT BE ATTENDED TO, UNTIL THEY PAY. IF YOU ARE LIVING IN ANY OF THE WELL DEVELOPED COUNTRIES, THIS WILL SEEM WEIRD TO YOU BUT THAT IS ACTUALLY THE REAL PICTURE!!!! PLEASE HELP US MAKE A CHANGE IN SOME RURAL PLACES OF AFRICA. HELP SAVE A SOUL PHYSICALLY AND SPIRITUALY! YOU MAY NOT BE A MISSIONARY, YET, YOU CAN SAVE A LIFE BY YOUR GIFTS ( MONEY, CLOTHING, EQUIPMENT, PRAYERS).AND THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT, YOUR GIFT CAN BE TAX DEDUCTIBLE TOO. BISHOP DR.
