WE THE PEOPLE
With the growing times like they are people are inclined to think the worst, wondering how ends are going to meet. We are living in a time where no one has the answer to the problems we face. People ask "Are things going to get any better"? Single home families are getting hit hard including families with a second income. They are finding it hard to keep the bills together. So where is this big bail out plan? How can we get back to our land of milk and honey? Only God can turn the trying times around. However, like every plan there is an action that needs to take place. As long as "We the People" try to figure this issue out on our own a solution will never come to us all. Is the time to hard for people to look up? Our help come from above and as I look around at the faces of the hard working men and women the face of hope is still there. Holding on to the great belief of man will bring us out. People are holding on to their last bit of joy, waiting on the great plan, the way out, the big ticket or whatever you want to call it. Days at work are getting longer and we are working harder and harder. Thinking, if I can get those extra hours in, if I can get those extra bonuses for the month, only to come up short. Asking ourselves "what if I did it this way or how about this" only make things worse. Not knowing how the next day may be, we need to put it in the hand of the man who made it, God! I stand here today telling you the only way we are going to feel the touch of peace again is to trust God--The Way Maker. As long as we trust in ourselves we are going to miss the mark every time. Never making it to the place He has set aside for us. Most of us today really thought we had things together, standing on a strong foundation made by hands. As the days pass by a new one starts, most people is still trying to live in the past, looking at what they had and telling stories of the "good ole days". Have we the people gave up? are we not looking for a turn around in our lives? Are we just going to sit back and say "I give up" is there no one out there who still believes in the Holy One? Have we so fast forgot the good times. It was once said on a job, you have to take the good with the bad, that applies to our life trials. We have to take the hard times with the easy times. Take a second to think what was the last thing you did of your own power. Now think just for a second how God works in your life. If you are anything like me, a joy filled my heart. We the people need to look back, not at the bills, not our jobs, friends or family but look back and remember the Lord and His Greatness. Try Him on, see if He moves.
