History and Background
Greater Grace & Deliverance Ministries was founded by Bishop Joseph R. Kidwell in July of 2014 in the city of Fort Pierce, Florida. The church is a part of New Life & Deliverance Ministries International with headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida and our Pastor serves the Fellowship as an Executive Bishop under the leadership of Presiding Bishop Alex Jenkins. Bishop Kidwell, was converted in his home town of Indianapolis Indiana at the age of 17 and received the Holy Ghost 8 months later. He has an extensive ministerial background having served as a full time Evangelist for 15 years. He has preached in 25 states and three foreign countries. In addition, Bishop Kidwell has pastored for over 20 years and has pastored churches in Redmon Illinois, Pompano Beach Florida, Bordentown New Jersey, Milwaukee Wisconsin and Fort Pierce Florida. He has been recognized as a church leader in Fort Pierce having been elected by his peers to the board of the Lincoln Park Council of Ministers. Bishop currently serves as a State Board member of Faith in Florida as well as a member of the Steering Committee for the local chapter of Faith in Florida (Treasure Coast). He has a B.A. in Bible from Central Bible College and is married to the former Lydia Caraballo. They have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
Doctrine and Mission
Greater Grace & Deliverance Ministries believes that Jesus Christ is the answer for for every problem and circumstance of life. We see people not as they are now but what they can become through God's grace. We see the book of Acts as the pattern for the church of the 21st century. Not only does Christ's atoning death on the cross provide salvation from sin but healing for our bodies as well. We believe that Christ baptizes in the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that walking in the reality of this experience will result in a victorius Christian life. Greater Grace & Deliverance Ministries Ministries exists for the purpose of empowering our community one life at a time by making a positive difference in the lives of people.
