Welcome to Dixon AME Zion Church! We are a church that truly means that all are welcome and can belong. Our goal is to be a place where those who are hurting can find comfort and care. We believe that the good news of God's love is available to every person of every culture, ethnicity, color, race, gender and background, so we welcome all people. Please visit with us! PARKING AT DIXON: 1. Parking is on the street or there is a Municipal parking lot midway up the block diagonally across from the church i.e. on the left. This lot closes at 7pm. 2)If you go past the church (if you are coming from Nepperhan Avenue) and then make the first right, and then right onto South Broadway, then the 1st right ( Guion Street) you can park on the street behind the church. 3) There is also lots of parking in the parking lot on the other end of New Main Street. If you make a U turn and go back across Nepperhan there is a large parking lot on the right (across from City Hall). Parking is free on Sundays.

We believe in a minstry that fulfills God's purposes for the Church through: 1)Dynamic Worship; 2)Maturity of believers by the study and discipline of God's Word; 3)Making other disciples by Witnessing about the transforming love of Christ; 4)Encouraging each other as we practice the Work of fellowship; 5)Being a vital part of our community as we practice the Work of service, advocacy for social and economic empowerment and being a voice for justice for the vulnerable.
