Our Lives
As Benedictine Monks our Lives radiate outwards in various rhythms involving the Monks in Solitude and Community, Silence and Fraternal Encounter, Prayer and Work.
Semi-Continplation
We choose to live our lives in Semi-Contemplation, but yet are active in outside Ministries. We live and minister in normal neighborhoods, not in big, huge monasteries. We are not Strict Observance as our predecessors, the Athonite Benedictine who came from Mt. Athos and Amalfia, Italy. Our Ministry is to the Elderly, the Young, the Homeless... A Social Justice Ministry. We are Chaplains, Confessors, Counselors {Pastoral}, Priests and Monks, living the Benedictine Motto " ORA ET LABORA", to Pray and to Work.
