OUR MISSION/VISION/PURPOSE
El Shaddai COGIC, INC's mission, vision and purpose is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with people while admonishing them to accept Him as Lord and Savior by becoming a part of the church, developing them into mature saints of God, preparing them for ministry while embracing their mission in the world and allowing God to be glorified in their lives. Our purpose is to bring deliverance, healing both physically/spiritually and restoration. In addition, to bring hope to the hopeless, abused (men, women, boy or girl), homeless, neglected, backslider and poor. TO SAVE, EQUIP and EVANGELIZE! Therefore we are pursuaded and dedicated to the call of God and know the purpose and responsibility entrusted to us. Paul told Timothy (1 Timothy 1:8,9) "...but be thou partakers of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God. Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began."
BRIEF SYNOPSIS OF EL SHADDAI COGIC, INC.
El Shaddai was birthed October 2007, on the scripture Genesis 17:1-9 As God appeared before Abram, he said "I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect, and I will make thy covenant between thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly." (4)"...thy shall be a father of many nations,...(5) Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham." So it was to be for this ministry,...thy name shall be called "EL SHADDAI." Our supported scripture is Psalm 91:1 " He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." El Shaddai meaning "GOD ALMIGHTY" or "God of the Mountain." We are a ministry dedicated to developing leaders for Christ. OUR Church Seal and Motto: God's Clergy: The Man and Woman of God also bare the symbol of the Bible (our instructions and foundation), of the cross (our relationship with God and his people),the light(which is a candle representing a lamp which allows us to see in the midst of our storms) and the fish (for we are true fishermen of men). Because of God's love for us, God's plan is much greater than ours. Just as God spoke and said "Let there be" and "it was" the same He spoke to this ministry "Let there be" and "El Shaddai was." So now we patiently wait as God's will be done through us and the body of Christ; and as He continues to add to the ministry, we humbly win souls to Christ.
