Mission Statement & Vision
Mission: The mission of Agape Family Woship Center is to love the Sovereign God and woship Him as we carry out the great commission by reaching and disciplining people for Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy host. Vision: Our purpose is to bring people to Jesus Christ and membership in His family: to develop them to Christ-like maturity, and to equip them for their ministry in the church (worship place) and their life mission in the world, in order to magnify the name of the Sovereign God. This pupose meets ou deepest need fo … *Membeship which gives us people to live with; *Maturity which gives us pinciples to live by; *Ministy which gives us a pofession to live out; *Mission which gives us a pupose to live fo; and *Magnification which gives us a powe to live on.
Purpose
It is our vision for the Agape Family Worship Center to be a place where the hurting, the hopeless, the discouraged, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find love, acceptance, guidance, deliverance and encouagement by reaching beyond ourselves to share the Good News of God's love through Jesus Christ. We strive to povide an atmosphere where many lives can flourish, in of love, understanding, patience and forgiveness wherein we can develop and practice Christian graces and avoid harsh criticisms and judgments thereby keeping in tuned to the love of God and one another. We intend to be sensitive to the needs of the weak and disadvantaged within and without our membership. As Chistians, our highest callings are to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves (St. Matthew 22:37-39). Nor does God leave us to try to work up this love by ourselves - He sends the Holy host with gifts (1 Corinthians 13) and fruits (Galatians 5:22) of love.
