Statements of Faith

Our Ministries - - Mission Statements

Administrative Ministry:

"For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, ......as I had appointed thee" (Titus 1:5) "Let all things be done decently and in order" (I Cor. 14:40). Because God is not the author of confusion, we strive to give the body of Christ at Omega a structure that will set the house of God in order and make the work of our senior pastor and other ministries more enjoyable.

We have an understanding that every ministry in the church is only part of a whole, so we commit to work passionately using every resource available (email, phone, bulletins, calendars website etc) to seal any gaps that may exit between the different ministries and disrupt the smooth running of the church of God. We count not ourselves to have apprehended but this one thing we do--we forget the things which are behind and instead, we look forth to the things which are before, so in spite of every obstacle, we continue to press forth toward the mark of the prize of that high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Children Ministry:

(Prvb. 22:6). "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it". Our desire is to train our children in the way of the Lord Jesus Christ--bringing into their awareness the love of God which was manifested when He sent His son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. We seek to bring to them the truth about their identity - that they are not of the world though they are living in the world - they belong to God and therefore their lifestyles have to manifest Christ and give God the glory.

Youth Ministry:

Zion Assembly Youth Ministries provides an environment that causes spiritual growth and allows teenagers learn the Word of God in a way that is relevant to them. And lets not forget the fun! From exciting outings, dance, choir and drama to an annual all night camp out, our annual lock-in the fun never stops. Come join us every Friday.

Benevolence Ministry

(1 John 3:16-17) Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? The benevolence ministry is a need born ministry committed to extending the love of God to the needy amongst us. It is our desire that God will make us his channel of distribution not only in Zion Assembly but also everywhere His hand through needs points us to. By providing to the needy among us, we bring the practicality of the gospel into action thereby glorifying God.

Music Ministry:

(Psalm 66:4) "All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah" The Zion Assembly Music Ministry exists to praise/worship God through songs and instruments under the organized leadership of the Zion Singers (the choir). While the heartbeat of the Zion Assembly is to live the mystery Christ in you the Hope of Glory, our passion for God is expressed in our praise and worship as led by the music ministry.

Our vision is to use music to promote the preaching of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery--have souls saved and people receiving their healing. We are committed each time we meet for service to always immerse the church in moments of praise and worship that go beyond the physical into the spirit realm where we truly worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth. News Letter Ministry:

(Hosea 4:6) "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge": The news letter ministry exist to keep the church and the community at large informed of the activities of the local body of Christ. Our goal is use use the news letter as an evangelistic tool to reach out to as many as the Lord will permit. By recording testimonies of God's goodness and other activities in the news letter, we believe that people reading them will not only be encouraged but also through that, we might win some for the Lord.

Translation

The word must go forth in all languages to the end of the universe. Language shall not be a hindrance to the spread of the Word, the anchor of lives here and hereafter Missions Vision: Taking the gospel where Christ has not been named and becoming Jesus Christ where he is needed. Scriptural focus: (Matt 28:18-19) "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost".

Audio/Visual Ministry:

This unique ministry exists to record and spread the unique inspiration coming out of Zion Assembly through tapes, CDs and DVDs. The ministry does not only preserve the lasting memories of events at Zion Assembly Center but it seeks to reach the unchurched with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Where the pastor can not go physically to preach, a tape, CD and or DVD can be sent.

Women's Ministry:

The Zion Assembly Center women's ministry, is a discipleship that has been designed to provide an effective avenue for women to be ministered to and for women to minister in their various areas of calling. It has four goals: To provide assistance in ministering to the spiritual and physical needs of women.

Becoming the message.

To provide avenues and opportunities for women to develop and be equipped to stand and overcome the daily adversaries women face in their homes, jobs and communities. Being the message.· To develop their ministry callings by providing ministry opportunities for "woman to woman" ministry and increasing the need for the women to laity ministry.

Discipleship.

To increase awareness at the home and foreign missions abroad by building resourceful women who will channel their resources into the word of the Lord at home in other parts of the world. The Gospel becomes our responsibility.

Men of Valor (MOV) Ministry:

The focus of the men ministry is the family. It is our goal that every man who has received Christ (John 3:16) aught also to share HIM (1 John 3:16) starting with the family, then to the local body of Christ and finally to the community at large. We believe that every man's mission on earth begins first with his family (with the man being the Head), so during our monthly men meetings we encourage our men to develop and maintain a healthy relationship with their spouses and children which is our God given responsibility.

Grace Team (Singles) ministry:

Fellowship of Consecrated and United Singles (FOCUS), for Christ Scriptural focus: (I Cor. 7: 32-33) "But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife".

We are singles with a single focus which is to please the Lord. The goal of our ministry is to encourage one another in our walk with the Lord and to dedicate our total being for the work of the ministry. We serve the Lord with joy knowing that God has a unique plan and purpose for each single and that purpose will come to be fulfilled at God's appointed time. We live by His Grace having our hope and strength in Him and him alone.

GOD BLESS YOU.
