Our Pastor Jonathan L. Poole would like to welcome you to The Gift of Life Learning Institute Church of God In Christ. We are a Ministry of Love, Joy and Compassion. So come out and praise the Lord with us, let us worship the Lord together for He is worthy to be praise. Our mission is to save the unsave, preach and teach the gospel, and to help the community with the help of God. Our history, the founder of the Gift of Life C.O.G.I.C is the late great Elder John I. Poole. Elder Poole was a faithful and devoted servant of God. He served as the assistant Pastor of the Greater New Bethel C.O.G.I.C for 17 years under the leadership of the late Superintendent Cludges Hill. In 1995, the Lord laid it on the heart of Elder Poole to start a church. He was the founder of the Gift of Life Learning Institute C.O.G.I.C. He served as the President of The State Evangelist Department of North Central Michigan under the leadership of Bishop H.J. Williams., he was the Chaplin for the Non-Denominational Prayer Breakfast and one of the Associate Pastors of The Millennium Fellowship. Thank you for looking up our Church web page. God Bless You. Our Affirmation of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God. We believe that there is One God, eternally existent in three Persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ at His return. We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin, is through repentance, faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized in water. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing in prayer. We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who asks for it. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a Holy and separated life in this present world, Amen. ____________________________________________________________________ THE BIBLE We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and contains one harmonious and sufficiently complete system of doctrine. We believe in the full inspiration of the Word of God.
