Who We are:
We are a Community of Autochepalous, Catholic Monks of the Tridentine Rite .Our Monastery is in Toledo, Ohio. We are Semi Cloistered and Semi Contemplative. We Celebrate the Tridentine Rite Liturgy/Mass --Pre-Vatican II ( in Latin). We are a Independent and Autochepalous Benedictine Communities. We are not under a Diocese nor any particular Bishop.We are under a Abbot's Rule. Our Abbots Apostolic succession comes from the Russian Orthodox Church, the Greek Orthodox Church and the Ukrainian Orthodox Catholic Church. It is a Valid Line and accepted as such. We live in normal neighborhoods. We do not own huge complexes. We Minister to those in need, whether they be, the Young or the Middle Aged or the Elderly. We are Confessors, Chaplains,Counselors and their Priests. We Wear the Traditional Habit of the Benedictine Order. We follow the same Vows ,as all Benedictine follow. we Live in the Spirit of our Founder, St. Benedict of Nursia " Ora et Labora", to work and Pray. We seek Vocations, as all Communities do to the Religious Life,for both Communities.
