First Church of the Nazarene in Jonesboro was established before the Church of the Nazarene was officially ordained. We can boast of having seen many, many sinners saved and sanctified at our altar. Praise be to God! Many pastors as well as superior lay leaders received their special calling at First Church. The church is located in downtown Jonesboro and is a beacon to all who want to worship and find fellowship. The church's motto "Our Church Can Be Your Home" has true meaning to anyone desiring to find a church home.
