Who We Are ? CHRIST GATEWAY MINISTRY(Christian Friends Welfare Society) is a non-profit making. Volunteer and non- Governmental organization based in Faisalabad(PAKISTAN).Faisalabad is the third biggest city of Pakistan with the total population of 4 million and also known as the Manchester of Pakistan. It is also termed as the proud home of textile industries and surrounded by villages. It is commected by all means of communication. It is at distance of 375kms from Islamabad the capital of Pakistan and at 200 kms from Lahore the ancient city and the capital of punjab. CHRIST GATEWAY MINISTRY have been preaching the word of Lord for last 15 years. We have spiritual Christian Community, in which we are trying to spread the message of Holy Bible. In consideration the command of Lord,''Go ye therefore and teach all nation `'round the Pakistan, CHRIST GATEWAY MINISTRY convey good news Holy Bible. For this purpose,we celebrate so many religious programme. These programmes were consisted of healing crossed convention seminars and religious musical songs. CHRIST GATEWAY MINISTRY thankful to God who did not regret his faithful people.he did not bless us only, but many Christians and non- Chrsitians people were healed and received salvation. CHRIST GATEWAY MINISTRY have preserved all these record in the form of movies and photographs.but sad fact is that we have no church building, so we are facing great difficulties in preaching and whole effort for this great purpose is in vain. In book of Haggai 1: 8-9 is such as `'Go up to mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will lake pleasure in it,and I will be glorifed, saith the Lord.ye looked for much, and,Lo,it came to little ; and when ye brough it home,I did blow upon it.why ? saith the Lord of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, And ye run every man unto his own house''. Many times we have to pray in open yard or have to use houses of people but how much long this will be happen, it is our vision that we have church building.but alas ! Christian community is so poor that they can not afford expenses of church building and place. Most Christian persons live from hand to mouth. Some times they have nothing to feed themselves and best study arrangement for their children.Thire daughters aged without marriage.No one could arranged dowry for them.in this situation how can they help us? It is written in Bible `' share each other difficulties''it is also written if your brother come to you at night helped him. In James 2:16 `'one of you say unto them depart in peace,be ye warmed and filled,not with standing ye give them not these things which need full to the body; what doth it profit?''. In Jesus my dears you have all facilities of life but unfortunately we are deprived of these facilities. In fact the maior need to people is church building, in which the people listened word of Lord. So that the people will be prepared for kingdom of Jesus. In this way the people not only gain spiritual but also financial support. Main proof of our services is Jesus, our poverty and your best co-operation. About Us An Christ GateWay Ministry for Socio-Economic and educational Development of the indigent Christan Community of Faisalabad PunjabPakistan through Spirtual and social awareness,cooperation,justice and machine. Christ GateWay Ministry is independent non-profit,non-Government organization having an ambition to strength the community through various devlopmaent projects by fostering self reliance,self sufficency,self determined and self sustained opportunities and available resources. As s result of in depth deliberations with the community members and co-minded friends,Brother Yaqoob Naeem founded an Ministry namely ( Christian Friends Welfare Society) Christ GateWay Ministry in 20th february 1992,for the removal of the root causes of lack of Biblical knowledge and lack of education, lack of health awareness and backward soico-economic conditions of the illiterate, poor and hunger stricken people of the country through sustainable devlopment through the Word of God. Legal Status:-Christian Friends Welfare Society was established in 20 Feburay 1992 and registered on August 20,1992 registration No.224/DDSW/FSD/92 with social welfare Department Government of Pakistan (Punjab)Faisalabad under the voluntery social welfare agencies (Registration and Control Ordinance,1961(XLVI of 1961) Our Work:- What We Do ? We are taking Sunday school classes to different schools, Churches and in slum areas also. Now with the help of almighty God we are teaching and preaching Bible Education to more than 1000 children. we have need some material like color pencils, Sunday school color books, balloons, sweets, etc. for the Sunday school classes. Free Medical Camps Our Ministry held most immediate need Free Medical camps on regular basis for their no medical facility for Christian poor people's.This is because outbreak of Malaria, Dengue Viral Disease, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis-B and Hepatitis-C is occurred. We need vaccines of these diseases and medical team is required for the test of these diseases. Christ Gate Way Free Dispensary A target area in which Christ GateWay Ministry is working is very poor. Most of the people are poor. Sometime it is difficult for them to afford for the expenses of medicdne. They were demanding for a long time to have a dispensary where they could get free medicine because they had to pay at least 50 rupees when they go to some other doctor. Christ GateWay Ministry took it as a prior problem.so a free dispensary was established to give a relief to these poor people. A patient had only to pay 10 rupees to get medicine. This amount was chrged to bear the expenses of the dispenary and to pay-to the lady nurse. The people appreciated this act.this dispensary is still working effectively. Health Centre We have established a free medical centre since 1st march 1992 at Ibni Mariam colany Faisalabad By name Christ Medicl Centre, Where the health facilities are provided to the poor and needy peoples of the area. Where the daily patients approxmately 25 to 30 has been attended by the female doctor, prescribe them and give them medicines free of cost which are available, other than this the paramedical staff is working under the limited finacial assistance with out any means. Polio Camps This day was celebrated along with whole of Pakistan. Physical disability occurs only when small children are not injected at their childhood stage. A camp was place at self-help basis by Christ GateWay Minstry in Warispura Faisalabad. A Large number of families brought their children to get the Polio drops.It was a chance for CGM to do something for the poor people. This day was succssfully celebrated. These polio camps were placed 4 times a year at different places.
