Welcome to New Covenant Assembly of God! As a Spirit-filled church we believe that God has called us to "be community in order to reach the community". NCA is a family-oriented fellowship of people who love Jesus and have a desire to see Him building His church. When you visit us you can expect contemporary praise and worship, anointed preaching and a welcome from a group of people who are genuinely glad you came.
About our Pastor
In February 2006 David Hogg became pastor of New Covenant. Pastor David was born and raised in Scotland. He came to Florida with his family in November 1999 after a successful career with IBM, and served as Youth and Associate Pastor in the Jacksonville area until December 2005. He became Senior Pastor at New Covenant Assembly in February 2006. He believes that God has called the Church to be "authentic and intentional" and that "in order for us to reach the community we need to be community." He is passionate about seeing people become genuine disciples of Jesus rather than simply making decisions. David's interests include football (that's soccer in the US), golf and of course Starbucks - just ask the congregation! Pastor David and his wife, Donna, have been married for more than 20 years and have two children, David and Hazel. NCA is blessed to have a great leadership team comprising Elders Steve Grier, Greg Rice and Leon Steinmeyer and Deacons Cesar Melecio, Bill Stewart, Brad Turner and Brian Woodard.
