WELCOME
Grace & Peace be multiplied in your lives. We pray this visit will be a blessing to you and your families. We are endeavoring to fulfill the assignment given to us by God. We have not completed our mission, however we are courageous in our efforts because it is the Lord which always causes us to triumph. We stand with all who name the name of Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Lord and Savior. We extend a joyful invitation to you and your family to any and all of our services. When the world and they who dont accept Jesus Christ as their Lord & Savior are looking to us (The Church) for answers and directions, we need to be clear in who we are and where we stand.
OUR MISSION
The Word of Understanding Family Church exist for several reasons which includes; to continue the mission of Jesus, to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10), to nurture the believers resulting in strong followers of Jesus Christ and to guide and equip the members in discovering their place in ministry so that they may ultimately continue the mission of Jesus Christ. To accomplish this, we will focus our worship, our preaching, our teaching and our fellowhip on the foundation of these scriptures: Proverbs 4:7 - Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom - and with all thy getting get understanding. Nehemiah 8:8 - So they read in the Book in the Law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.
