Purpose Statement
Our purpose is to lead people to Christ and assimilate them into the family of Christ, grow them into the application of being Christ-like, and prepare them for the administration of God's love in the church and in the world, so that the adoration of God can be witnessed.

Announcements for the upcoming week Calling all young people between the ages of 3-17. Choir rehearsal will be held on Saturday, September 23,2006 at 12 noon. Hope to see you there Saturday, September 23,2006 from 1 pm - 4 pm - Metropolitan Fun Day. Please bring your favorite board game and snack to share. Everyone is invited to attend. See Bro. Jesse Wheat for further details. Sunday, September 24,2006 - Breeding Tabernacle CME Church from Indianapolis, IN will be our special guest at 4:00 pm. Rev. A.C. McClendon, Jr. is the pastor. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Dinner will be served September is Life Insurance Awareness Month. On Saturday, September 30,2006 at 2:00 pm everyone is invited to attend a seminar about life insurance and financial planning. Light refreshments will be served. Please see Sis. Danielle Delaine for further information Saturday, October 14,2006 from 11:00 am until FREE CLOTHING DRIVE. If you would like to donate any clothing please Rev. Morris Duskin. Refreshments will be provided. Family & Friends Day - Sunday, October 15,2006 will be the kick off for our 3 Day Revival - Trinity CME Church from Indianapolis, IN will be our special guest at 4:00 pm. Rev. Dr. O'Neal Shyne, Jr. is the pastor. Dinner will be served. Also on Monday, October 16th and Tuesday October 17th 7:00 pm- Rev. Dr. O' Neal Shyne, Jr. will be our revivalist. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Elections for all Board Presidents will be held on Sunday, October 22,2006 immediately following morning worship service. Any questions about this please see Rev. O'Neal Shyne, Sr. Mark your calendar November 19,2006 - "Whale of a Tea Celebration." Special asking: Adults - $300.00, Youth - $25.00 and Children-$15.00.
