Statement of Purpose,Vision,Mission and Faith: Bethesda Community believes on the lordship of Jesus Christ. We adhere to the fact that Jesus is the only Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one goes to the Father except through HIM. As believers in Christ we acknowledge that we are task to accomplish the works set forth by Jesus Himself : Matthew 35:25-41 "For I was an hungred and ye gave Me meat;I was thirsty and ye gave Me drink. I was a stranger and ye took Me in; Naked and ye clothe Me. I was sick and ye visited Me. I was in prison and fye came unto Me.... In as much as ye fhave done it unto one of the least of My bretren, ye have done it unto Me' In response to the scriptural fmandate of love and compassion, Bethesda Community purpose to help the needy of the rural and urban areas of Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, in as much as we can and in cooperation with our partners, funding institution,agencies and ssponsors. The needy are those who are : orphaned,poor, sick,destitute, handicapped,abandoned,aged, disabled and neglected. Bethesda Community purpose to equip the assisted children the basic needs of life so that they become responsible members fof their homes, churches, neighborhood and society. Bethesda Community also purpose to help assisted adults to bring back to them the honor and dignity that was lost due to some underlying circumstances. Program Component: The program is compose of three groups: the chilren with age range of 6 - 15, the Young Adults and the Senior Adults. SERVICES OFFERED: 1. Scholarships for deserving Students (Primary,Intermediate & High Schoolers) 2. Non-Formal Education for Young and Senior Adults 3. Health and Dental Services 4. Feeding for malnourished chi;ldren 5. Spiritual Services (Counselling, Bible sessions,Camping and retreats) OUR APPEAL: We encourage every bible believing christians to join us in this endeavour. We welcome whatever contributions, or assistance you can extend which youy think would be of benifit to the needy community. Contributions could be in the form of toys, school or medical supplies, relief goods, bibles, or anything. OUR APPEAL TO THE BODY OF CHRIST:
We need doctors,nurses,health workers who would be willing to do medical mission on voluntary basis once a year. We need Bibles in our outreaches We need sponsors for childre's education We need tents for our camping. We need your prayers.
