Greeting in the all inspiring name of the risen savior; Jesus the Christ. It is with great pleasure we share this mission statement with you. Here at the Wesley Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal church. We share in the original mission of the church as proclaimed in the Gospel according Mark 15:16. And he said unto them, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Thus we are a part of a connectional church that spreads far and near, with the good news message found in it. The gospel of Christ is the gospel of God which was hidden for many generations, but now reveal by the Son of God. John 14, 15, and 16 "and as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15. That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. What an honored to bring the multitudes of humanity to the feet of Christ?
Preaching the gospel is often used to include not only the sharing of the good news, but also the sharing in the teaching ministry that all may be filled in the salvation offered in Christ promises and precepts. It is in the applications of these principles we fulfill the ministry in serving the community and humanity. In term we apply, "the gospel of the grace of God" Rev. Anthony D. Brim
