1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. 2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. 3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious sufferings and atoning sacrifice though His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory. 4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. 5. We believe that the full gospel includes holiness of heart and life, healing for the body, and baptism in the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. 6. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. 7. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. 8. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
1. Worship Matthew 22:37-38, Isaiah 43:21 Our first and greatest command from God is to love Him with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind. Ministry to the Lord comes before ministry to people. The "first love" is for Jesus. Praise is a calling given to every believer. Choirs, orchestra, music teams, cantatas, and worship services all provide avenues to lead us into praise and worship, both as a body and individually. 2. Prayer Matthew 16:18-19 (KJV) It is up to the church to pray Gods will into the earth. Jesus has given us the authority to release His will on earth through prayer. We as believers--the church--are to stop the works of the devil through prayer. 3. Fellowship I Corinthians 12:12 The church is a community of believers. It is a family--loving together and caring for each other. We are a body with many members. Every member of the church needs the other members. God uses each of us to supply something to someone else. The first believers in Acts Chapter 2 shared their possessions with one another. They ate together, prayed together and worshipped God together. This can be accomplished in the following ways: a. Home Groups (cell groups) b. Discipleship Classes c. Groups designed for various ages. 4. Teaching Ephesians 4:11-12 Foundational to all that is done in the church is the Word of God. The apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher are given by God to train and equip the believers to do the work of the ministry. The Word of God builds and equips believers to be and do what God desires. The vision of Victory is to constantly nurture believers until they grow into full maturity. 5. Evangelism Mark 16:15 (KJV) The church is called to proclaim good news, heal the sick, deliver the oppressed, and set the captive free (Luke 4:18). We have the answer to the Worlds problems and we must share Him. All that we do in worship, prayer, fellowship and teaching is preparation for evangelism. God gave Jesus because He loved the world. His love has not changed; we are to go to the unsaved with this message of Gods love. The Vision will work together: Worship, prayer, fellowship, teaching, and evangelism each of these 5 areas is important. All of them flow together as one, thus giving the total vision and ministry of the local church. When these five conditions are met, the individual will understand that there is a place for you at Victory. Seek Gods will. He will reveal to you the place you can give and receive in this ministry. Growth comes from commitment. Get your roots down into this vision. The greater your commitment and dedication, the greater your growth and progress will be.
