TEHILLIM, A HEBREW WORD - MEANING PRAISES, WHICH IS DESCRIPTIVE OF THE COMPLETE BOOK OF PSALMS. THE NAME WAS SELECTED BY PASTOR MICHEAL HOLLIS IN FOUNDING OF TEHILLIM CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST IN 1983. TEHILLIM, KNOWN AS THE PREACHING, PRAYING, PRASING CHURCH HAS EXENDTED INTO MANY MINISTRIES: HAITI, BURKINA FASO (WEST AFRICA), YOUTH FOR CHRIST INTERNATIONAL, DOMINICIAN REPUBLIC, MAIDEN HOUSE, ANGEL TREE(PRISON MINISTRY, ALSO PREPARATION & DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD BASKETS, GIFTS, AND CLOTHES @ CHRISTMAS AND THINKSGIVING - H.O.P.E.(Helping Other People Everyday), DOOR-TO-DOOR STREET OUTREACH, LOCAL WOMEN, YOUTH AND MUSIC MINISTRIES.
AFFIRMATION O F FAITH
We Believe The Bible To Be Inspired Word Of GOD, And As The Holy Scriptures, It Contains All Things Necessary to Salvation. We Believe In The Trinity Of The Father, The Son, And The Holy Ghost. We Believe That Man By Nature Is Sinful And Unholy, Being Born In Sin, He Needs To Be Cleasned By The Blood Of Jesus. We Believe That Man Is Saved By confessing And Forsaking His Sins And Believing In The Lord Jesus Christ, And Having Become A Child Of GOD, He May And Should Claim The inheritance Of The Sons Of GOD Namely: Communion, Water Baptism And Baptism Of the Holy Ghost. We Believe In The Baptism Of The Holy Ghost With The Signs And the Seal Of Speaking In Tongues As Recored In Acts 2:14, 19:6, 10:46 And The Fruit Of The Spirit Galatians 5:22,23. We Do Not Believe That We Are Baptized With The Holy Ghost In Order To Be Saved And Become Sons Of GOD, But That We Are Saved And Are Sons Of GOD, The Holy Ghost Being A Guide And Teacher. We Believe In The Second Coming Of The Lord And Savior, Jesus Christ, And The Rapture Of The Church. We Admonish All Who Have This Hope In Them To Purify Themselves As He Is Pure.
