WHO WE ARE
The CITYHOPE CHURCH is a new and growing multicultural evangelical household of faith "Where Everybody Is Somebody in Gods Image and Christ Is LORD Over All." The Scripture teaches that, through His death and triumphant resurrection, CHRIST JESUS redeemed "people from every tribe, language, nation, and race" (Rev. 5:9 CEV). We, therefore, seek to reflect on earth a little bit of Heaven by inviting, welcoming and embracing believers in CHRIST from all backgrounds and walks of life, who desire "A House of Worship for All People." Children, youth, young adults, men, women, the elderly, singles, and professionals (seeking for "hope and a future") are welcome to CityHope and will find a place for spiritual growth and ministry!
OUR CORE VALUES
We are committed to a "FOURFOLD GOSPEL" at CityHope Church: CHRIST JESUS as our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King. We observe certain quality characteristics including, but not limited to the following: (1) Empowering Leadership that equips Gods people for ministry; (2) Passionate Spirituality characterized by a vibrant faith; (3) Functional Structures flexible enough to allow creatity with faith in God; (4) Inspiring Worshp that glorifies God, uplifts people, and edifies believers; (5) Holistic Small Groups for building a household and community of faith; (6) Gift-Oriented Ministry enabling every member to obey Christ in life and service; (7) Need-Based Evangelism reaching people where they hurt; and (8) Loving Relationships in which Gods people share His love and compassion with others. QUALIFICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP IN CITYHOPE CHURCH consist of: (1) Confession of faith in JESUS CHRIST and evidence of regeneration; (2) Belief in GOD the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, in the verbal inspiration of the Holy Scriptures as originally given; in the vicarious atonement of the LORD JESUS CHRIST; in the eternal salvation of all who believe in Him and the eternal punishment of all who reject Him; (3) Acceptance of the doctrines of the LORD JESUS CHRIST as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King; (4) Full sympathy with the principles and objectives of The Christian and Missionary Alliance governing this Church and cooperation by smpathetic support of our work; and (5) Such other qualifications for membership as may be stated in the Bylaws.
