Who We Are
Zumbro Community Church is founded on the principles of Scripture. The ideal New Testament church is one that teaches and practices what the Holy Spirit commands in the New Testament, and refrains from what He forbids. We strive to follow the patterns set forth in the New Testament. Our first priority is to preach and teach the Gospel which is relevant and practical for today. We seek to provide a family-centered ministry which involves each of us as members of the local body, for edification, discipleship and fellowship. The unity for which Christ prayed can be realized by individuals, uniting in restoring His Church as it was in the beginning. John 17:19-21
Faith and Doctrine
We have no creed but Jesus Christ-the only creed required in the New Testament. We believe in the Bible, as contained in both the Old and New Testament, to be the inspired Word of God and without error in the original language. Therefore we accept as true the miracles of the virgin birth and the resurrection. We believe that the Bible is the final Court of Appeals in all matters of Christian doctrine and Christian Practice. 2nd Timothy 3:14-17, 2nd Peter 1:21
