St. Patrick's Cathedral Parish is situated in the heart of Bridgetown, Barbados. It attracts people from far and wide because of its archetectual beauty and its history. From St. Patrick we reach out to all peoples. Ecumenical Services are regularly hed and Inter - Faith services are held from time to time. Through the St. Vincent de Paul society many poor families are assisted with food and school fees for children who cannot afford to pay. In these and many more activities we try to spread the Light of Christ in the city. Please pray for us that we would be able to continue our work and add other ministries to make our light shine even brighter.
St. Patrick's Cathedral is a place where prayers are offered daily to God. At any time of the day you would find someone praying or sitting in quiet reflection before the blessed Sacrament. The Eucharist is celebrated Monday through Friday at 12:00 noon and on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 6:30 am. Weekend Masses are held on Saturday evening at 6:00pm for Sunday and on Sundays at 7:00am, 9:00am, 11:00am and 6:00pm. Prayer Groups of different kinds meet in the Cathedral on a regular basis. There is a weekly Charismatic Prayer Meeting led by the members of the Living Water Community each Wednesdat night at 7:00pm. Among our congregation can be found people from many parts of the world who are holidaying on the island or are here on business.
