About The Sheaf & Grace Ministries (INDIA)
The Sheaf and Grace Ministries (INDIA) was started with a vision. The "SHEAF" means `the fiftieth day from waving of the sheaf of the first fruits (Leviticus 23:15-16)'. The SHEAF stands for "Social Hope in the Evangelical Association of Faith" to care for the total need of man, believing in Trinity. The Sheaf and Grace Ministries (INDIA) stand for social up-liftment educational trust, moral and spiritual emancipation through Jesus Christ who is our Lord and was sent by God the Father who is in the heaven. The Sheaf and Grace Ministries (INDIA) had been serving to establish the kingdom of Jesus Christ among these heathen in this third world country through conducting crusades, conferences, seminars, Gospel processions, door to door evangelism, street meetings, distributing gospel tracts etc., among the Hindus, Muslims, idol worshippers, rural and tribal people. We have been offering the people improvement in education, health, physical, spiritual and vocational skills. There is something far more important; if the people are attracted by the love we can edify his kingdom very gloriously and victoriously. The Sheaf and Grace Ministries (INDIA) shows divine love to the perishing souls, starving, sick and the suffering people through Preaching, Feeding, Healing and Rehabilitating. We are independent and are not affiliated to any Church or Organization at home or in abroad. The following are the various activities of The Sheaf and Grace Ministries (INDIA): 1. The Sheaf and Grace Children Home: There are thirty-five (35) children residing in the Home. They are Orphans, Destitute, Parent-less, Poor, Prostitute and unwedded mother's children. They are being destroyed, neglected, deprived of their childhood and lacking social justice. I feel it a privilege to organize this children home to regulate the character, conduct and behavior of pupil and to develop their ethical standards and ultimately to develop them spiritually. We provide them food, shelter, education, medical care and grow them up in Christian discipline with a motto of "Training Tomorrow's Leaders Today". 2. Pastors & Evangelists: There are fifty-(50) pastors working in various villages on behalf of The Sheaf & Grace Ministries (INDIA). We have been spreading the word of God in nook and corners, even though we don't possess proper transport facilities, our pastors have courage to walk miles together with me in this great commission. All of them are depend only upon faith. They even suffer with lack of food and clothes but they are standing for the Christ with Faith. We have been conducting Pastors Fellowship in the first week of every month at our head quarters Malakapalli to exchange our experiences, views and thoughts. Many of them congregation but the Churches are yet to be built. Their sturdy faith in Jesus keeping us to stand with courage for the Lord. We are suffering very greatly during our outreach ministry due to lack of transportation facilities. So these pastors walk miles together with me during the outreach ministry. So it is our prayer and belief that the Lord will provide the transportation facilities in His own time. 3. New Life Center: We have started a New Life Center for the converted prostitutes and unwedded mothers, who have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour during our Gospel outreach ministry. They are undergoing training in dress making and stitching various cloth materials. We want to provide them each one with a sewing machine soon after they complete their training, so that they may not turn back to the sinful life for their livelihood and live as witness for Jesus Christ. They are our intercessory prayer team, in the evening after their training hours they gather in the Church and pray for our ministry and it's needs. Please pray that the Lord provides them the sewing machines soon after they complete their training. 4. Bible School and Seminars: Our team of evangelists who are zealous in the word of God, spiritually grown up and dedicated themselves to spread the word of God and became fishers of men. But I have vision to establish fulltime Bible School in order to develop theological knowledge among the evangelists and prepare more number of harvesters in India. But our financial resources can't meet the need; we are conducting three months Bible Seminar for the pastors and evangelists to equip them with more spiritual knowledge. We are sure that the Lord will definitely establish the Bible school in His own time through His people. 5. Bible for the Needy: We distribute nearly 3000 Holy Bibles in Telugu freely per year for those who have interest to read the scripture but are unable to purchase. We even distribute the Bibles to the prisoners during our Hospital and Prison Ministry. Many orthodox Hindu people who received Bibles are accepting Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour later. 6. Share and Care Ministry: According to St.Matthew 25:35-40, we feed the bounded in prisons and sick in Hospitals both spiritually and physically. Just to tell them how much we love them in Jesus name. We share the word of God and give them food packets along with gospel tracts and Holy Bibles. 7. Compassion Ministry: Poor feeding is done on a mass scale as frequently as possible, apart from Christmas meals and Easter meals with Christ's compassion seen in St. Matthew 15:32 when He said, not satisfied with preaching alone, "I have compassion on the multitude…will not send them away fasting". We have started this ministry that feeds every first Friday of the month more than 350 people who are sick, poor, shelter-less and beggars. This ministry is a great blessing and more effective to share Jesus love. 8. Church Planting: We are yet to build the Churches for our congregations in various villages and we have built some thatched sheds in some of the villages. During the sever cyclone of 2001 even the head quarter Church at Malakapalli was also collapsed and from then we are conducting the worship in a thatched hut. We are praying for the Lord to provide resources to build the Churches where there is need. We are sure that the Lord will answer our prayers. 9. General Convention, Good News and Healing Crusades: Every Year we conduct Annual General Convention for five days and also now and then we conduct the Good News and Healing Crusades in different villages where there is need for Gospel. I wish to extend our hearty welcome, which you are privileged to participate or share in our Healing Crusades. If it is God's will if your presence is here in our area as a missionary and as member of our crusade, I will be much happy and thankful to God. Our village Malakapalli is central place for around Two Hundred and Fifty villages. 10. Salvation Literature: Most of the gentiles who never could hear the Gospel could be able to read the message of salvation through printed media like tracts, booklets in regional language and accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. We distribute the tracts in busy places like markets, colleges, melas, railway stations, bus stations, hospitals and prisons.
