Who We Are
We are the Pennsylvania/New Jersey District of the Christian Congregation, Inc. of Lafollette, Tennessee. The Christian Congregation was founded in 1798 in the mid-west. Its was incorporated in 1887. The Christian Congregation is a denominational evangelistic association which has it roots in the Stone-Campbell movement of the great awakening. Polity is congregational. John 13: 34-35 is a central tenent of the church. Credentials for independent clergy are provided.
Help Us Expand
The Penn-Jersey District of the Christian Congregation is a new district of the church headquartered in LaFollette, TN. We are looking to establish churches and ministries in the eastern Penssylvania/South Jersey region. We are seeking independent ministers, churches, and ministries who would like to join us is spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
