Introduction
Welcome on the Ling Faith Community Church web-site. Real love towards Christ comes not through our understanding but through our not understanding, because His love and Grace are above our understanding. Our deepest purpose is to know God as Father through Jesus the Son, guided by the Holy Spirit of truth. Within this is there is no time for standing still beside found treasures, or to build palaces of sure knowledge around them. Every treasure found is a stimulus to start seeking for other discoveries. Because we can never know in full and can never know Him fully, never mind understanding Him fully. There is no time for living in boxes in our live on earth; we can only find some oases to catch our breath for a moment, during our travel. In this we are all stumbling pilgrims on the Way, who know something, but there is much more we do not know. We, who belong to Creator - Adonai, saved through grace in His Son Jesus Christ guided by the Holy Spirit of truth, are all on the Way Home together where the adventure continues on the other side of eternity….. About the ministry: The living Faith Community church is an independent, non - denominational evangelical ministry . This is the result of challenge that came to me in this question: "Do you love Me, Creator-Adonai, enough to say goodbye to Christianity?" Therefore is this what I can say ; The Bible says: 1Cor. 12:12-14: "12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.13 For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all made to drink of one Spirit.14 For the body is not one member, but many..." It is not the church which contains the most "truth" wich is the most valuable, but the one that spreads the most love" The Royal Way Frans Horsthuis. You find here some of the things I see as common ground where pilgrims can meet eachother. The center of faith. John 3:16 For God had such love for the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever has faith in him may not come to destruction but have eternal life. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I had made the decision to have knowledge of nothing among you but only of Jesus Christ on the cross. Romans 1:16 For I have no feeling of shame about the good news, because it is the power of God giving salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first, and then to the Greek. Mark 8:36 What profit has a man if he gets all the world with the loss of his life? John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the true and living way: no one comes to the Father but by me. 1 Corinthians 3:11 For there is no other base for the building but that which has been put down, which is Jesus Christ. Galatians 2:21 I do not make the grace of God of no effect: because if righteousness is through the law, then Christ was put to death for nothing. Matthew 22: 37 And he said to him, Have love for the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38 This is the first and greatest rule. 39 And a second like it is this, Have love for your neighbour as for yourself. 40 On these two rules all the law and the prophets are based. Galatians 5:4 You are cut off from Christ, you who would have righteousness by the law; you are turned away from grace. Romans 10:10 For with the heart man has faith to get righteousness, and with the mouth he says that Jesus is Lord to get salvation. 1 Corinthians 15: 11 If then it is I who am the preacher, or they, this is our word, and to this you have given your faith. 12 Now if the good news says that Christ came back from the dead, how do some of you say that there is no coming back from the dead? 13 But if there is no coming back from the dead, then Christ has not come back from the dead: 14 And if Christ did not come again from the dead, then our good news and your faith in it are of no effect. 16 And I will make prayer to the Father and he will give you another Helper to be with you for ever, 17 Even the Spirit of true knowledge. That Spirit the world is not able to take to its heart because it sees him not and has no knowledge of him: but you have knowledge of him, because he is ever with you and will be in you. 18 I will not let you be without a friend: I am coming to you. Ephesians 4: 2 With all gentle and quiet behaviour, taking whatever comes, putting up with one another in love; 3 Taking care to keep the harmony of the Spirit in the yoke of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, even as you have been marked out by God in the one hope of his purpose for you; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all. 7 But to every one of us has grace been given in the measure of the giving of Christ. Luke 14: 26 And turning round, he said to them, If any man comes to me, and has not hate for his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, and even for his life, he may not be my disciple. 27Whoever does not take up his cross and come after me may not be my disciple. Romans 12:1 For this reason I make request to you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, that you will give your bodies as a living offering, holy, pleasing to God, which is the worship it is right for you to give him. 2 Peter 3:13 But having faith in his word, we are looking for a new heaven and a new earth, which will be the resting-place of righteousness 1 John 4: 15 Everyone who says openly that Jesus is the Son of God, has God in him and is in God. 16 And we have seen and had faith in the love which God has for us. God is love, and everyone who has love is in God, and God is in him. 17 In this way love is made complete in us, so that we may be without fear on the day of judging, because as he is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love: true love has no room for fear, because where fear is, there is pain; and he who is not free from fear is not complete in love. 19 We have the power of loving, because he first had love for us.
