DIOCESE OF THE MIDWEST
THE DIOCESE OF THE MIDWEST is an American jurisdiction, in the Midwestern United States, of the UKRAINIAN AUTOCEPHALOUS ORTHODOX CHURCH CANONICAL, encompassing the States of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin. We are an Orthodox Christian community under the Omofor of Primate Metropolitan-Archbishop Moisey (Moisei), Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Rus'-Ukraine.
Because of special circumstances in the United States, our priests and parishes may celebrate the Liturgy and Sacraments in both the Byzantine and/or Western Rites, and services may be either in English and/or Ukrainian depending on the specific needs of a particular community. Inquiries from clergy and faithful are most welcomed.
We also have Archdioceses/Dioceses in Texas/Southwestern United States, Southern United States, Ukraine, France, Italy, Spain, Chile, the Caribbean, Brazil and Guatemala.
