Jimma Meserete Kristos Church (JMKC) is one of the fastest growing churches in Ethiopia. It is one of the 232 congregations of the national Meserete Kristos Church. It is founded in one of the predominantly Islamic area in the western region of Ethiopia. The primary task of JMKC is to accomplish the task of God's Kingdom and uses the mandate given by Jesus Christ. "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Matt.28:19-20 The church nurtures, trains, disciples, and sends missionaries The church is open to work in partenering with other sister churches. Let the glory and the honor be to the Lamb of God, who died for our sin, rose from the dead, and is to come in His ful glory! Amen !

Every Sunday, there is no enough sit for people attending JMKC. Currently, we are - building churches - helping the poor in the community ("Mecodonia service") - trainig leaders - sending missionaries - providing assistance to the new church planting centers - support those who have been persecuted because of their faith in Christ.
