Who we are

We are the Eastern Apostolic Orthodox Church of Antioch (E.A.O.C.A.), an independent Church native to North America. We are a federate member of the Archdiocese of "The Good Sheperd," U.S.A., from which derives our Ecclesiastical legitimacy. Our Church line originated in the Middle-East, as opposed to some Christian Churches that originated in Europe, the United States, Canada and other Western World countries. We do carry with us, valid Apostolic succession from Antioch, Syria, where Christians were first called Christians and we are of direct lineage from the Saint Thomas Christians, of the Malabar Coast line, in southeastern India, (Jacobite/Syro-Chaldean lineage). We are a "Biblically based," Sacramental Christian Church, Anointed from the Holy Spirit of God above and are a Full Gospel (Charismatic/Pentecostal) Convergence Ministry. We are the out come of a rich blending of many Christian branches/denominations, (together) worshiping God in one accord, as was common in the primitive, ancient Church of the first thousand years of Christianity. We are a reformed latter rain movement of sorts. We are neither entirely Sacramental, nor are we Protestant. Simply put, "We are sincere, born again Christians, sick and tired of the vain, powerless hype (lies) associated with man-made religious mediocrity. We are totally devoted to Jesus Christ and the Ancient Teachings of the Holy Apostles. We are descended from a very old jurisdiction, that was founded by: Saint Thomas, one of the original 12 Apostles."We believe, the E.A.O.C.A. is something like a product or maybe even a vision, similar to--------->"The Valley of Dry Bones" seen by the Old Testament Prophet, Ezekiel (Ezekiel 37:1-4). Like the dried and scattered bones, some remnant Christians, God seekers and the many throw away Christians found everywhere these days, we, the hurting forgiven, blood washed, children of God, are coming back together once again, maybe even for the last time before the great and glorious day of the Coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ!!! We, the scattered remnants of Jesus, (Joel 2:32) those that have been wounded by the man-made rhetoric of organized religion (the cast aways, the un-wanted) and those that have tasted the hardships and the hopelessness associated with life in this hurting world, are rising again, (re-awakened and given another chance) to the call of our Savior, carried on the four winds to unite in one accord under Gods Holy Provision. Our purpose and hearts prayer is to allow the life changing influences of Our Heavenly Father (God), to re-make us into "unresisting" instruments for helping to bring the true reality of The Kingdom of Heaven, with all its love, beauty and harmony, from invisibility into visibility, into the hearts of a hurting humanity.

Our Motto

Through our motto: " Unity Through Diversity " (Ephesians 4: 13-16; 1 Corinthians 12), it is our intention to unite the people of God through a celebration of Religious, Ethnic and Cultural diversity. We mainly minister to the needs of a lost and hurting humanity, commonly known as, The Walking Wounded: the largest un-tapped denomination in the world, and unfortunately ever so growing!!!. We respectfully extend a hand up to these hurting ones, and we extend an invitation to all, and to the many scattered and perplexed Christians and non-Christians found everywhere. It is our belief that the Eastern Apostolic Orthodox Church of Antioch is like a bridge, an ismus, a way back to "A place called home." Back to original (Apostolic) Christian beliefs, set forth by Jesus Christ and His Holy Apostles, a re-structuring of sorts, a reformation with re-discovered, re-applied Apostolic truths, that could ultimately re-unify and re-equip the Mystical Body of Christ, (the Bride of Christ, Church), back to an Apostolic likeness, of identity, much like the ancient Church of the first three centuries, charged with a powerful (Anointing) reality of The Holy Spirit of God, fresh and alive, as it was evident in the early Christian era of Biblical times (read Acts of the Apostles).
