We are a developing Temple under The Celtic Orthodox Church as an expression of its global mission to preach the Word of Jesus Christ as an Orthodox, Catholic and Apostolic Church who welcomes all people, regardless of their life situation, as children of God and seeks to love and serve the Christ in one another. We are committed to building supportive and loving communities of faith as guided by the Holy Spirit. We offer Christ's Sacraments to His people as an expression of His love. CELTIC ORTHODOX CHURCH -- A TRADITIONAL WESTERN RITE ORTHODOX CHURCH -- ROOTED IN THE ANCIENT TRADITION, YET READY AND ABLE TO MEET THE CHALLENGES OF TODAY.
Our Mnistry
Our Lord, Jesus Christ, commissioned the Apostles with two great missions to fulfill. First, to go into all the world and carry His message of Love to all people (St. Matthew 16:15), and secondly, to give sustenance to a community of believers, that they might grow in His Love and service ( cf. St. John 21:15, et seq.; St. Luke 22:32). In addition to fulfilling these two roles, of spreading the gospel, and nourishing the faithful, the Church has inherited with the sacred deposit of Faith from the Apostles, a responsibility to tend to the needs of the poor, the outcast, and the suffering (St. Matthew 25:37-40; St. James 1:27, 2:14-17). The Celtic Orthodox Church, descended from the Apostles, is bound to this Holy Mission: Spreading the Gospel message to all, instructing and encouraging the faithful in discipleship, and as a community and individuals, acting on Christ's mercy to all in need. St. Gabriel's Chapel and Holy Family Orthodox Church is a Mission Parish of The Celtic Orthodox Church in our community. In this day an age, we must take a firm stand for our FAMILIES and our CHILDREN. Satan is attacking the Divine institution of the Family, one man and one woman. He is also attacking our children daily, with murder, pornography, greed, and anti-christian lifestyles. Stand with us TODAY as we lift up our families and children in prayer to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. May God Almighty protect and bless our families and children!
