What on earth are we here for?
The Purpose of Clarkdale Baptist Church is to reach people with the Good News of Jesus Christ, receive them into the fellowship of God's family, and encourage a growing relationship with Jesus that equips us to minister to the needs of others, as we continually celebrate God in worship. We are a Purpose Driven Church, dedicated to the Church's five overarching purposes of Evangelism, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry, and Worship. In addition, we are a FAITH Church that is committed to and practices the FAITH Evangelism Strategy through the Sunday School. We intentionally reach out to all people, irrespective of age, race, ethnicity, and social or economic status. Consequently, our worship services are a blend of contemporary and traditional worship. We are in the process of establishing a Bible Study and worship ministry for those who speak only Spanish. SE HABLA ESPANOL! Our Children's Ministry includes graded classes in Sunday School, Children's Church during the Sunday Morning Worship Hour, and "Children in Action" (CIA) activities for children on Wednesday Family Night. Denominational Affiliation
Although Clarkdale Baptist Church is an autonomous church, we are voluntarily associated with the Yavapai Baptist Association, the Arizona Southern Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention. We believe in and adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message, as revised in the year 2000. We believe that although today's world has many political, domestic, economic, social and racial problems, the message of the Bible, God's Holy and inerrant Word, is desperately needed. It provides answers to life's dilemmas and provides a foundation upon which anyone may build a meaningful life.
