CALVARY CHAPEL SAVING GRACE VISION: Calvary chapel saving grace ministries desires to start churches. we believe that there is a great need to start a sound Bible teaching churches in Africa in fact we will teach the Bible systematically book-by-book and verse-by verse. It is our goal to teach the whole of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. In Simply teaching the word we will see lives transformed and set free from habitual Patterns that destroy their lives. OBJECTIVES: Sunday morning service: we will start Sunday morning services that will teach the Bible in-depth. Accompanying the teaching God's word will be worship and pulpit evangelism. We will also have children's church where kids will be taught the whole of the Bible at their own level of understanding. Mid-week Bible Study: In order to speed up the process of discipleship we will offer a mid-week Bible study. The Bible study will be surrey in style in which we will lay foundation of understanding of the book of study. The purpose of surrey teaching is to spark the interest of individuals to further study the word of God. Men's Study-Their will be a study specifically designed for the edification of men. As men it is important that we are taught how to be the husbands, fathers and sons that God has spelled out for us in His word. Women's Study -like wise there will be studies designed specifically for the edification of women. It is equally important for women to know how they ought to live as wives, mother's and daughters. IMPLEMENTATION 1. Evangelism : We will use Various means of Evangelism to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is the first step of discipleship. Evangelism will consist of door to door, public outreaches, and relation evangelism. Outreaches will have event for children, teenagers and Adults. Relation evangelism will be demonstrated through community service, clothing and food distributions. 2. T.V. or Radio: We will use television or Radios as a means to teach the word of God and evangelize. OUR GREAT COMMISSION AND MISSION STATEMENT Mark 16:15-18 Go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature. God is the center of the gospel. The exaltation of His gory is the driving force of the gospel. The gospel of grace. The worth of God is giving sinners the right and power to delight in God, with out obscuring the glory of God. Our job is not to add to the church, that's God's job. Our job is to feed the flock, tend the flock, care for the flock and love the flock. Our aim is to make healthy disciples of Jesus Christ who will not be taken captive by false teaching: We desire to see men and women equipped with the word of God so they can accomplish the work of God. SAVING GRACE'S STATEMENT OF FAITH * We believe the Bible to be the inspired ,infallible, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God (11Timothy 3:15-17,2 Peter 1:21) * We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the father , son, and Holy Spirit(Genesis 1:1,Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19,John 10:30) * We believe in the deity of Christ (John 10:33,) His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14,Matthew 1:23,luke1:34-35):His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15,7:26,). His miracles (John 2:11);His vicarious and atoning death (1corinthians15:3,Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9), His resurrection (John 11:25,1 Corinthian 15:4), His ascension to the right hand of the father (Mark 16:19),His personal return to earth in power and glory (Acts 1:11,Revelation 19:11-16). * We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of the human nature, and that all are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God's grace through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16-19,5:24, Romans 3:23,5:8-9,Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5). * We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and lost, those who saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are not unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29). * We believe in the spiritual unity of the believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13,Galatians 3:26-28). * We believe in the present ministry of the Holy spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13-14,1corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30,5:18,). * We believe that we as Christians are examples of the love of God in this world. It is this (agape) love that we desire to possess and without which we have no right to call ourselves Christians (1 John 4:16-17).
