The Confession Of Our Faith
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and it is sufficient for doctrine and practice. We believe in God almighty, creator of all things, eternally existing in three equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, born of a virgin conceived of the Holy Spirit, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross for the sins of the world. We also believe in His bodily resurrection from the grave, His ascension into heaven and expect His bodily return from heaven. We believe that the Holy Spirit regenerates, indwells, seals, baptizes, and bestows spiritual gifts upon all believers. We believe that man was created in the image of God: that he sinned in Adam and thereby incurred both physical and spiritual death, is now a sinner by nature and by choice and is in need of salvation. We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and not based on human merit, works, or religious ceremony. We believe in the physical resurrection of the human body in the eternal conscious existence of all people in either heaven or hell. We believe that the Local church is God's plan to edify Christians and to evangelize the world. That Christians are sent as ambassadors, commissioned to go and make Disciples of Christ. We believe in the ordinances of water baptism of believers and the faith participation of the Lord's Supper in the commemoration of the Lord and proclamation of His death till He comes.
