HOUSE OF PRAISE MISSION - MISSION FOYER DE LOUANG

PROFILE: HOUSE OF PRAISE MISSION is a denominational church founded by the presiding Bishop DANIEL DAVILMAR PURPOSE STATEMENT: To bring people to conversion in Christ Jesus and membership in His family, maturing them to express God in human form, equipping them for their ministry in the church and fulfill their God-given mission in the world in order to magnify God. OUR MISSION: Converting people within our community in all creative ways and developing them into fully functioning followers of Jesus Christ. COMMISSION STATEMENT: What the Bishop heard from the Lord. "That shall be of three shall build the old waste places, thou shall raise up the foundations of many generations and thou shalt be called the repairer of the breach. The restorer of the paths to dwell in." FOCUS ON GROWING PEOPLE (a) Bringing people to Jesus as MEMBERS in his family. (b) Building people up to MATURITY (c) Training people up for MINISTRY (d) Sending people out on MISSION, (e) Releasing people to MAGNIFY the lord in the process. JESUS MINISTRY: - Ministering to the community, Feeding the crowd - Gathering the congregation, Challenging the committed, And discipline the core BRANCHES AROUND HAITI We believe:- 1. That the Bible consisting of 66 books, 39 of them being of the Old Testament and 27 of the New Testament, is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God, without error. The Bible is the ONLY book used to guide the church in all undertakings. The Bible is the final authority in the Church in deciding any conduct in a Christian life. Where the Word of Jesus Christ or the Word of God in the New Testament amends or repeals any Word in the Old Testament, we take the Word of Jesus or the Word of God in the New Testament to be the final authority that nullifies the preceding word of the Law (2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17; PROVERBS 30:5-6; DEUTORONOMY 12:32; MATTHEW 5:21-48; HEBREWS 6:18-19, 22; 9:1-10; REVELATION 22:18-19). 2. That there is one sovereign God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Father is God, Jesus Christ is God, and the Holy Spirit is God (MATTHEW 3:16-17; 2 CORINTHIANS 13:14; MATTHEW 28:19-20; COLOSSIANS 1:3, 14-16; ACTS 5:3-4; 1 CORINTHIANS 8:6; 1 JOHN 5:20; TITUS 2:13). 3. That Jesus Christ, the Son of God was supernaturally born on earth of virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Ghost. We believe in His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years (ISAIAH 7:14; MATTHEW 1:18-25; ROMANS 1:3-4; 1 CORINTHIANS 15:3-4; PHILIPPIANS 2:6-7). 4. That all human beings are sinners by nature because of the fall of Adam or Adam's sin and that they all deserve the wrath and judgment of God. No one is righteous before God by his deeds for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Every person is a sinner, right from birth (PSALM 51:5; JOB 14:4; 15:14; 25:4; ROMANS 3:10-18, 23, 5:12-17; 1 JOHN 1:8,10). 5. That a person is justified, when he or she is born again after confessing and forsaking his sins and believing in the Lord Jesus whose blood was shed on the cross and has got the power to cleanse all sins. When a person is born again, he becomes a new creature changed by God and his sins totally forgiven, and is given the power to overcome sin and the world. Just as Jesus overcame sin, the new convert is equally blessed with the power to overcome sin. He or she becomes a child of God. His or her name is blotted from the book of judgment and written in the Book of life. He or she becomes saved or in other words, he or she becomes a Christian. A Christian is a person who is born again and set free from sin. We believe and teach that salvation is by faith and not by works of the law (PROVERBS 28:13; ISAIAH 55:7; EZEKIEL 18:21-23; MARK 1:15; LUKE 24:46-47; JOHN 1:12; 3:3; ROMANS 8:1; EPHESIANS 2:8-9; TITUS 3:5; 1 PETER 1:23; ACTS 3:19, 21; 11:20-26; 2 CORINTHIANS 7:10; 1 JOHN 1:7; 5:4, 18; REVELATION 12:9-11; 3:5, 15). 6. That without HOLINESS, no man shall see the Lord. We believe and teach seriously about holiness, and this is central in our teaching. We teach that men are supposed to be holy in this present world. We teach that a Christian must be holy both in body and in spirit (1 CORINTHIANS 7:34; 2 CORITHINANS 7:1). We teach seriously that a Christian should not be conformed to this world. Worldliness is sin. The friendship of the world is enmity with God. We ought to be holy as He is holy, in all manner of conversation (PSALM 16:3; TITUS 2:11-12; HEBREWS 12:14; 1 PETER 1:15-16; JAMES 4:4; ROMANS 12:2). 7. That Restitution is necessary to make us have a conscience void of offense toward God and men. It helps us to avoid any blame that can be directed to us as regards to our salvation, providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men. Restitution is one way of bringing forth fruits meet for repentance. Restitution is also a way of doing works meet for repentance. It is a proof to God and men, that we have really turned from darkness to light; and from the power of Satan unto God (GENESIS 20:1-7, 14-18; EXODUS 22:1-7; LEVITICUS 6:1-7; NUMBERS 5:6-7; 1 SAMUEL 12:1-5; 2 SAMUEL 12:1-7; PROVERBS 6:30-31; EZEKIEL 33:14-16; MATTHEW 3:8; 5:23-24; LUKE 17:3-4; 19:8-9; ACTS 23:1-5; 24:16; 26:18-20; 2 CORINTHIANS 8:20-21; JAMES 4:17; 5:1-4; PHILEMON 1:18-19). 8. That Water Baptism is essential after reconciliation with God. We believe that it is one immersion in water in the name of the Father and of the Son and of Holy Ghost. We don't baptize infants who can't personally receive the Lord Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, but we bless them instead (JOHN 3:22-23; MATTHEW 3:13-17; 28:16-20; ACTS 8:36-39; 2:37-38; 8:12-13; ROMANS 10:13-14; MARK 10:13-16; LUKE 2:27-34; ROMANS 6:4; COLOSSIANS 2:12). 9. Partaking of the Lord's table or the Lord's Supper is commanded by the Lord. We are commanded to partake of the Lord's Supper in remembrance of our Lord. At the Lord's table, we eat "unleavened bread" and drink "the fruit of the vine", that is fresh grape juice that has not been fermented. We don't partake intoxicating wine at the Lord's table. Everyone should examine himself before eating of the bread and drinking of the cup (LUKE 22:7-20; MATTHEW 26:26-29; 1 CORINTHIANS 10:21; 11:18-19, 23-32; PROVERBS 23:20). 10. Sanctification or circumcision of heart is a definite work of grace upon believers by which act, one is enabled to live a holy life, without which no man shall see the Lord (COLOSSIANS 2:10-11; 1 THESSALONIANS 4:3, 7-8; 5:22-24; EPHESIANS 5:25-27). 11. That the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is for all children of God. We teach that Baptism of the Holy Sprit is the enduement of Power for Christian service and we stress that a believer can get the Baptism of the Holy Spirit after he or she is sanctified. We believe that speaking with other tongues as the spirit gives us utterance, is a first sign of being baptized or filled with the Holy Ghost but we stress that it should be accompanied by the enduement of power to declare unto sinners, their transgression and bringing them to the Lord effectively (MATTHEW 3:11; ACTS 1:4-8; LUKE 24:49; JOHN 7:37-39; MARK 16:16; ACTS 2:1-4; 10:44-46; 19:1-6; MICAH 3:8). 12. That all gifts of the Holy Spirit are for the present time also, not only for the times of the Early Church. Signs, wonders and miracles are performed today in the Name of Jesus, in order to confirm the Word which we preach. Being redeemed from the curse of the law, includes the healing of all manner of sickness, disease and infirmity. When we call upon the name of Jesus. demons flee in the name of Jesus, the blind receive their sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dumb speak, and the dead are raised up. By the stripes of Jesus Christ, we were healed. Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sickness. Whoever believes in the word of Life, gets life, and gets it, more abundantly (1 CORINTHIANS 12:1-31; 14:1-40; ROMANS 12:4-8; MARK 16:20; EXODUS 15:26; DEUTERONOMY 7:15; PSALM 103:3; PROVERBS 4:20-22; ISAIAH 53:4-5; MATTHEW 8:16-17; 11:4-5; 1 PETER 2:24; MARK 16:15-18; LUKE 13:16; JOHN 14:12-14; 10:10; ACTS 10:38; JAMES 5:14-16; 1 JOHN 3:8; 3 JOHN 1:2; GALATIANS 3:13-14). However, we believe that hospitals and medical doctors are means to cater for the ones with little faith. Taking medicine as per directives of a physician is not bad (COLOSSIANS 4:14; 1 TIMOTHY 5:23; LUKE 10:30-37; EXODUS 1:15-21, ROMANS 14:1-4). 13. That we are saved to serve (EXODUS 8:1, 20; 9:1, 13). It is a duty of every believer to do evangelism and teach others the Word of God, just as he or she has learnt. The Great commission urges every believer to share the gospel with others who have not yet received the Gospel. This work is not to be left to pastors or evangelists alone (MATTHEW 28:19-20; MARK 16:15; john 17:18; ACTS 1:8; 8:1-4; EZEKIEL 3:17-21; PSALM 78:3-6; JOEL 1:3; 2 TIMOTHY 2:2; ACTS 18:24-25). 14. That every man or woman who is married, is bound by the law to his wife or to her husband, so long as he liveth; but if the wife or husband be dead, then he or she is loosed from the law of his wife or her husband. Polygamy is not the will of God. Lamech, the first polygamist, was also a murderer. (GENESIS 4:19, 23-24). One man, one wife till death separates them, is the perfect will of God. Whosoever putteth away is wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery, and be not deceived, adulterers shall not inherit the kingdom of God (MALACHI 2:14-16; ROMANS 7:2-3; EPHESIANS 5:31-33; MARK 10:3-12; JOHN 4:15-19; LUKE 16:18; 1 CORITHIANS 6:9). 15. That after death, all who lived in sin go to hell, a place o

It is a fellowship of pastors, ministers, church leaders, Christian workers and churches who associate for fellowship, relationship, prayer, networking, and ideas. We at HOPM can help build down to earth relationships between our alliances and proven leaders and to learn successful church building methods. The HOPM Alliance strives to offer pratical spritual and logical input to those who know they are called to build a church or ministry. We are also here for independent ministries who may feel they are "out on their own" or "too small for anyone to care." The fellowship is not a denomination, although we do ordain, license and give credentials to those so desire to be recognized in our society as a religious entity. We are not here to infringe upon your local church authority, we are simply here for networking, prayer, counseling, and fellowship, and to serve as a "hub" for ideas. We are just as close as you need us to be. "Don't spend major time with minor people. If there are people in your life that continually disappoint you, break promises, stomp on your dreams, too judgmental, have different values and don't have your back during difficult times...that is not a friend. To have a friend, be a friend. Sometimes in life as you grow, your friends will either grow or go. Surround yourself with people who reflect your values, goals interests and lifestyle. When I think of any of my successes, I am thankful to GOD from whom all blessings flow, and to my family and friends that enrich my life. Over the years my phone book has changed because I changed for the better. At first you think you're going to be alone, but after a while new people show up in your life that make your life so much sweeter and easier to endure. Remember what your elders used to say, "Birds of a feather flock together." If you're an eagle, don't hang around chickens. Chickens can't fly. " - Jewel Diamond Taylor
