ABOUT MUSICWORX MINISTRIES
THE HISTORY OF MUSICWORX (for more details and complete profiles, visit: WWW.MUSICWORX.ORG) It all began with a dream. A dream that one day an organization would cater not only to the Filipino's love for music but also use it for the glorification of God. And so it came to pass in October of 1999, from the mind of a visionary and with plenty of inspiration from above that JGV Musicworx came into existence. Its name derived from a desire for whole new music and worship experience. In its early days JGV Musicworx was registered under the DTI as a sole proprietorship. Its founder, Pastor Jupiter Vidad, concentrated on bringing Christian Music to the Filipino audience. Concerts were staged across Metro Manila for this purpose. The organization also catered to music-related needs of various Christian organizations. In the next few years God would introduce more volunteers to Musicworx through Jupz's various ministries. In October of 2002, shortly before its Third Year Anniversary, things were beginning to take shape. Jupiter met his Vice President, Josh Villanueva. The two put together a team that would re-define the organization's goals and set forth concrete plans for the future. Among the appointed members of the Executive Committee were Evelyn Serata, Joanna Faith Villanueva, Irene Sibal and Edith Verde. Also appointed as advisers were Alice Cole and Jin Wen Villanueva. At the first executive committee meeting, the new Musicworx team got down to business. Its goals were redefined and its motto became; "Spreading the Word through Christian music". Soon after that the official website was launched, the organization incorporated with the SEC and the organizational structure fine-tuned. Today as Musicworx looks forward to the new year ahead, it aims to reach out to both the Christian community and likewise to those who need Christ in their lives. Music is a gift from God and as it works wonders in calming the soul and soothing broken hearts, it can be used also as a powerful tool in serving God. We share the message of God's love and the gift of eternal life through music. We are a Christian Music organization & performing group. We are missionaries who use music to spread the Word of God. We are a non-profit, non-stock, religious organization duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. We seek to contribute to the development of the Philippine Christian Music scene. We plan to conduct regular workshops and seminars to help train worship leaders, and improve church based music ministries. We aim to bridge the gap between music resources and the third world by providing song sheets and minus ones at a reasonable cost. We desire to encourage and challenge Christian musicians to use their gifts for the Lord and help them organize venues to showcase their talents.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: How do we invite Musicworx to sing/minister at our church? A: Just call us at any of our numbers (+632) 4359367 / +63919-5843656 or send an email to info@musicworx.org Q: How much will it cost us? A: Musicworx does not charge a talent fee for its ministry. All the group asks is that you provide us with transportation, meals and accommodation if necessary. A love gift for for the ministry would also be highly appreciated. Q: Do you have a standard repertoire? What about song requests? A: We do have a standard repertoire that we can send to you but are always willing to customize our songs to fit your theme or message. If time permits we are willing to learn a song if requested. Q: What else do you do? A: We can lead the praise & worship, and provide speakers to do the sermon.
