Messiah Temple started as a family devotion and soon became a neighbourhood tribal traditional morning and evening devotional center, on the porch of the home of Rev./Eld. Joe K. Pratt in 1972. This devotional center was transformed into a traditional church on May 6th,1978. The Church was fortunate to receive in her membership a converted muslim brother in 1994, who by the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, rosed to the position of Pastor in charge and has transformed the Church from that of a traditional organization to a spirit filled full gospel Bible believing church. The church has caught the vision of winning the lost at all cost and is reaching-out throughout Liberia and urgently needs assistance.
The Church established a School in 1995 to cater to the growing and demanding needs of war-weary and poverty striken children. We solicit assistance from donors, organizations, and individuals around the world in cash & kind to help give these children a brighter feature. We urgently need: Textbooks & Instructional materials, and support for the Instructional staff. Theres also an urgent need for infrastructional development.
