About Our Community
Knoxville has the distinction of being the Sprint Car Capital of the world. Racing is a big part of our community events, including the Nationals that are held here annually. Knoxvilles population is approximately 8,000. We have all the major conveniences and retail stores, that are second to none. Knoxville is one of the friendliest and cleanest communities in Iowa. Come and see for yourself. Knoxville is located 27 miles southeast of Des Moines.
