History
Southside was established 1939. It is a member of Texas Northwest Church of God in Christ and the Abilene District. We are located in Abilene Texas surrounded by three four year church related colleges. We less than two hundred miles from any major city in West Texas Our mission is to make mature disciples for Christ. Programs includes Bible Study, Women Prayer Breakfast,Youth connection and Music with congregational involvement. All are encouraged to reach their potential in the community and the body of Christ.
